The machine arrived solid and largely unrestored, with surviving factory paint and chrome. Because the petrol tank had been repainted but the remainder retained its aged finish, the project was approached as an oily-rag restoration rather than a cosmetic rebuild.
High mileage meant that the engine required a full mechanical overhaul. Gearbox parts retained from earlier projects and a complete spare engine supplied much of what was needed.
The video follows the inspection, removal of the petrol tank, engine and gearbox work, testing the correct magdyno, reassembly and the first start in the garden.
