Film notes
The channel describes the Special as a clubman-racing development of the Blue Star, using higher compression, higher cams, a large TT racing carburettor and numerous smaller changes intended for greater output and speed, with quoted figures of 33bhp and 90mph on benzole and alcohol.
The video follows the machine from the first look through starting attempts, adjustment and running.
