An unusually complete survivor

This motorcycle is a 1939 KM20, ex-BEF. It was probably left behind during the Dunkirk evacuation and was later found in the Calais area. That history remains a working attribution rather than a documented certainty.

The motorcycle is very original and retains matching frame and engine numbers. I bought it completely dismantled — down to the last spoke — but fortunately the parts were present and in very good condition.

Back together

The motorcycle has now been rebuilt and completed its first successful test run. The next major stage is paint.
